When one gets a degree in Speech-Language Pathology, one is actually getting a degree in abbreviations. For example:

SLP

AuD

ASHA

MSHA

NSSLHA

MLU

PT/OT/RT

CCC

TBI

AD/PD

CAS

CVA

Tx/Dx/Hx

SOAP

QOL

ADL

EBP

LTM/STM

ECSE/SPED

PLS/GFTA/KLPA/CELF/WAB/SCATBI/PAT/ABCD

LSVT

SPL

AAC/AT

THE LIST GOES ON. AND ON. AND ON. It is insane. My class notes would barely be legible to someone outside of this field.
