giggles ensue

28 Sep

Last night I was sitting in a three hour class on special populations. When we got a break, a friend and I took the opportunity to take a little stroll around the CSD building. We were looking at SLP and AUD student and professor posters, when a special one caught our eye. Balance and the Menstrual Cycle.

please someone, help me stop laughing

UH. Awesome. Women who are premenstrual or menstrual are less efficient, more accident-prone, distracted, and uncomfortable. During PMS and MS? That means half of the month. Which means half of the year.

SIX MONTHS OF THE YEAR a MAJORITY of the people in our field are clumsy and inefficient.

On top of this, after reading said poster we got real obnoxious and were yelling things like “WATCH OUT. SLP COMING THROUGH WITH AN ANGRY UTERUS.” and then we’d crash into the walls or fall down.

As it turns out, my class isn’t the only night class in the building on Tuesdays. Some poor undergrads got quite a show while they were giving class presentations.

Right?! Haha, who knew? On top of being a crazy biotch, we’re also not in control of our limbs. Thanks PMS.
